Air Show Cancelled in Los Angeles

  • What an LA County Air Show official has to say about the cancellation
  • How the refund process will be handled

This week it was announced that the Los Angeles Air Show, scheduled to start on October 23rd, has been cancelled. An air show official had this to say about the cancellation, “The mounting challenges of resurrecting an air show at William J. Fox Airfield, combined with numerous complications created by the resurging pandemic, made it clear that cancellation is the best course of action to preserve the opportunity to put on a successful event in the future.” The air show usually features a wide range of exhibits as well as aerial displays, usually by The U.S. Navy Blue Angels, but this year the USAF Thunderbirds were scheduled to perform.

The organizers for the LA Air Show promise a full refund to everyone who had already purchased their tickets. “The refund process has already been initiated and no action is required by ticket holders at this time,” the statement said. If you have purchased a ticket and have not received a refund by August 30, contact the show’s box office.
