Jet Edge Expanding Reserve Membership Program

After receiving $265 million in credit and equity investments over the past year from KKR, Jet Edge International is expanding its Reserve Charter Membership program benefits nationally. Previously, the Reserve membership was limited to serving major cities within the U.S. on a program pricing basis.

Under the expansion of the program, all benefits of membership such as hourly pricing and transcontinental programs have been opened to all U.S. markets, excluding Alaska. As well, transcontinental program pricing is now available to Reserve members for flights lasting four or more hours, starting at $39,900 for flights on the company’s Bombardier Challenger and Gulfstream business jets to and from any city pairs in the U.S.

Expansion of the Reserve program comes after the Ohio-based Part 135 operator added 27 Challengers and Gulfstreams to its fleet last year and expects to take delivery of another 20 in the first half of this year, bringing its fleet size to 95 aircraft. “With new deliveries expanding…it made sense to expand our Reserve membership program to include all U.S. markets,” said Jet Edge chief business officer Steve Malvesta. “On the heels of the nationwide rollout, I would also expect to see a guaranteed-availability, fixed-hourly-subscription Challenger product from Jet Edge to be launched by the second quarter on the Challenger fleet.”
