Turboprops Climb in Value as Supply Declines

According to a Global Aviation Market report by Sandhills, the value of a turboprop in the average state has increased about $65,000 over December 2020 and December 2021.

The increase in value come as a result of supply and inventory declinations, along with a shortage of certain models. Overall inventory is down almost 57% year over year according to Sandhills.

Used turboprops have climbed in value more than new models, and are an estimated to be around $1.4M on average.

Demand in the aviation industry is increasing at a steady rate, and given a shortage of inventory and other related supplies, so the price for these aircrafts in similar condition will also rise as well.
