Vista Acquires Jet Edge to Expand U.S Presence

Vista Global Holding acquired Jet Edge to expand it’s U.S presence. The deal is expected to close and become official in the second quarter of this year, but the acquisition just recently became known to the general public today.

Jet Edge is based out of Van Nuys, California. Jet Edge is a private jet charter that specializes in aircraft management and is also a brokerage provider as well. They are one of the United States’ largest charter operators according to JetNet.

Vista will take over 100 Super-Mid aircrafts as well as it’s maintenance facilities and hospitality lounges. On top of this, Vista’s XOJet Aviation will also acquire ownership in Jet Edge’s Part 135 certificates under Jet Select and Western Air Charter. Vista will now have more than 340 aircrafts in total with many of them comprising of Bombardier and Gulfstream jets.

Thomas Flohr, Vista’s founder, provided a quote on the new acquisition. “Bringing Jet Edge into the group scales up our presence in North America, giving Vista the opportunity to turbocharge growth in the most dynamic business aviation market…It also means expanding our offering and presenting our members with the chance to fly on the largest fleet of Gulfstream aircraft available for charter.”

Bill Papariella, Jet Edge CEO, will serve as Vista’s Chief Business Officer going forward. Papariella said in a statement, “this merger takes the Jet Edge platform to the next level overnight.” He also added that this acquisition will help it’s customers and clients be able to fly wherever, whenever with more ease and convenience.
