Ludacris purchases a luxury private jet as a “graduation present” for himself. The rapper took to social media to share photos and videos of his new toy, which he dubbed the “LudaJet.”
“Graduating to a brand new LudaJet,” he captioned one video. “Thank you, Lord!”
In another clip, Ludacris gives a tour of the jet, showing off its plush interior and state-of-the-art amenities.
“I’ve been working hard, man,” he says in the video. “This is my graduation present to myself.”
“The spacious new jet towers over his last plane, which was a Hawker 700, reportedly worth around $20 million,” according to TMZ.
The purchase comes after Ludacris revealed that he had finally earned his college degree. The rapper shared a photo of himself in a cap and gown, holding his diploma from Georgia State University.
“It took me 13 years but I did it,” he wrote in the caption. “A lot of people told me I was crazy for going back to school at 33 years old but I’m living proof that it’s never too late to follow your dreams.”
TMZ reported, “the rapper/actor just received an honorary degree in Music Management from GSU, and he’s not even trying to hide how happy he is about his graduation gift.”
