Two Orlando Residents Killed in Florida Single-Engine Plane Crash

According to local news channel Wesh2, two Orlando residents were killed Monday in a plane crash near Panama City.

The plane was a 1979 Piper PA-28RT-201, a single-engine fixed-wing aircraft.

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office shared that the accident occurred just outside the Northwest Florida Beaches Airport at about 4 p.m.

There will be an investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board.
