Laird Kay, the self-proclaimed “avgeek”, always had a passion for planes in his early years of life. He remembered always being so enamored with planes, how they took off, landed, and more.

His previous job was involved in photography and design, and he would often take photo shots of anything that he was asked to do.

However, over time he had the opportunity to combine his passions and become an airplane photographer. He wants others to see the beauty of an aircraft through his own eyes, and try to get others to experience the same love for airplanes as he does.

He specifically enjoys taking pictures about the mechanical design of aircrafts, along with some of the parts as well.
