Private Jet Charter vs First Class

  • Comparing the amenities of private jet charters and first class
  • The difference between private jet charters and first class

Private jet charter and first class are two different means of air travel. Both require the passengers to pay a lot of money to experience the luxurious experience. Even though first class and flying in a private jet may seem similar, they are very different. Chartering a private jet gives you access to maximize your time at your destination and minimize the hours you spend traveling. First class gives you access to luxury and amenities, but you still have to take the route of a commercial flight which means more passengers on board and the possibility of a layover. Also, having to put up with crowds and airport security and any other discomforts are still something you have to deal with in first class when this is not an issue with private jet charters.

Private jets flyers are higher end travelers such as CEOs of companies. When making a private jet reservation, you can control who boards the flight, whether that be friends, family, pets, or colleagues in the case of corporate travel. When flying private you are offered a great deal of amenities such as catering, beds, televisions, peace, and quiet. This personal experience is tailored to give flyers the best experience possible for every trip.

One of the main differences between these two forms of travel is cost. Chartering a private jet can cost up to $13,000 an hour and this price can be higher based on the size of the jet and the destination of the trip. First class costs a pretty penny, but not compared to the hourly cost a private jet charter. Although flying first-class costs more money that a commercial flight ticket, having to deal with lines, crowds, and layover may make it worth it to the right person to reserve their first private jet charter flight.
