When you’re one of the most famous celebrities in the world, its hard to not splurge your earnings on a personal private jet. The canadian rapper Drake purchased himself a Boeing 767 for about $200 Million. Going by the name “Air Drake”, this massive jet has leather reclining seats, wide screen TVs, multiple bedrooms, a private living room, and carpeted floors. This jet is so big that it can hold about 30 people, but Drake wants all that room to himself. When youre one of the most decorated hip hop artists in history, it almost seems fitting for Drake to make this outrageous purchase.

This purchase was back in 1999 and was known around the world as the largest transaction on the internet at the time. Since 1999, Cuban has purchased two more Boeing Business Jets. His Boeing 757 is strictly to transport the Mavericks from game to game. He aircraft ha a weight room, meeting rooms, and space for medical treatment. The jet will typically fly about 600 hours during the NBA season, but when the season is over, Cuban will charter the jet out to large groups.

How could you be one of the richest people in the world and not own a private jet? Bill Gates, the owner of Microsoft, owns a single Global Express worth about $40 million. This long range jet competes against the Gulfstream V, Boeing 737 and Airbus A319CJ. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation also owns 2 Challenger 350’s. Bill Gates lives a modest life, he doesnt wear alot of jewelry or spend money on ‘toys’ such as yachts or sports cars. But his collection of private jets are known to him as his guilty pleasures and are his tools for better.
