Pentastar Aviation FBO is an aviation services company in Oakland County, Michigan that provides domestic and international private charter flights, avionics, maintenance services, in-flight catering and FBO services. Pentastar FBO began in 1964 as Chrysler Air Transportation but was renamed as Pentastar Aviation in 1980. The Company holds class 3 and 4 airframe ratings and also carries out avionics installation and repair directly at its facility. Pentastar prepares everything fresh daily for their five star gourmet catering service. The kitchen offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner to all sized aircrafts. Every staff members pays close attention to detail on every catering menu to ensure every product is fresh and properly storage until the flight.
The five Pentastar heated hangers are about 130,000 sq ft of space that can shelter aircrafts as large as a Global Express. When it comes to safety, the pilots and line service technicians receive training through the National Air Transportation Association as well as ensuring secure ramp access and a safe environment for anyone who enters the FBO. Pentastar also offers flight planning, aircraft detailing, aircraft maintenance, and also have the only privately owned jet bridge in the United States. One of this FBOs greatest achievements in being voted #1 in Americas 2019 FBO survey and #1 Best Independent FBO 2019 ProPilot PHRASE survey.
