- Aircraft crash in Ohio resident’s yard
- Pilot escaped with their life luckily
On Wednesday 8/4/2021 a crop dusting pilot crashed into a Wayne County resident’s yard in Ohio. From the account, the aircraft hit a tension wire, continued to fly over multiple fields, then hit a tree and lost its propeller before hitting the ground and ending up next to the garage of the resident. Only a dozen homes lost power, no one on the ground was injured, and the pilot was able to walk away from the crash, eventually being taken to the hospital. The aircraft was an Air Tractor AT-502, which was being used to spray fungicide on a field.
