FAA Conducts new Drone Traffic Management Capabilities

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is planning to test new drone traffic management capabilities and then implement these devices into the sky for future use.

This testing will begin in spring 2022 and will improve cybersecurity and data across all dimensions in the aviation industry, and also further push aerospace inventions and advancements.

The FAA will conduct testing with drones in scenarios that they think would likely occur on a daily basis, and see how they manage traffic in various situations. This will also show the FAA how the capabilities and standards of drones currently function in today’s world, and how it can improve the cybersecurity and data space.
