Since receiving its FAA type certificate in 2012, Gulfstream has delivered its 500th G650-family business jet. Gulfstream Aerospace has delivered its 500th G650-family aircraft, the company announced today. The milestone marks a significant achievement for Gulfstream and highlights the popularity of the G650 family among customers.
“The delivery of our 500th G650-family aircraft is an important moment in our history,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream. “The G650 set a new standard in business aviation when it entered service 10 years ago and continues to be one of our most popular models.”The G650 family of aircraft, which includes the G650 and longer-range G650ER, is powered by Rolls-Royce BR725 engines. It can seat up to 19 passengers.
The G650ER has a range of 7,500 nautical miles. The aircraft’s advanced design and technology create an exceptionally smooth ride, and its spacious cabin is one of the largest in business aviation. Gulfstream’s PlaneView cockpit features three 15-inch high-resolution displays and the latest in flight-deck technology.
