On Monday, the Honda Aircraft Company announced a new upgrade package for its HondaJet Elite aircraft.

The package enables owners of the older model HondaJet Elite to include features from the newer Elite S model, as well as enjoy performance improvements like a 200-pound weight increase for maximum takeoff, an additional 120 NM range added on, and the company’s advanced steering augmentation system. The upgrade options include the installation of an aircraft communications, addressing and reporting system (ACARS), FAA DataComm, and Com3 radio.

The company has announced that its authorized service centers will offer the upgrade package later this year.
