Jet-tracking data reveals that Elon Musk‘s private jet hasn’t flown to the nearby airport of SpaceX‘s primary launch center for about three months.
While the reason for this is unclear, it could be related to his recent purchase of Twitter. Musk has been increasingly active on Twitter since then, with many highly visible posts and engagements in social media conversations. It’s possible that these activities have kept him too busy to take a trip to the launch site. Additionally, with SpaceX now working on two different launch sites, it’s also possible that Musk might be spending more time at the other site.
It is possible for Elon Musk to travel to Starbase, Texas on one of SpaceX’s aircraft; however, his past flight records indicate that this option is not quite likely.
This could be due to the fact that SpaceX’s aircraft are mostly used for missions and executive transport. So far, it doesn’t look like Elon Musk has had any plans of going to Starbase.
