Nextant Aerospace, founded in 2007, is a company which is best known as the first company to introduce the concept of business jet remanufacturing. The first aircraft Nextant introduced to the market was the Nextant 400XT, equipped with Williams FJ44-3AP engines that emit 3,050 pounds of thrust and a Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics system. The 400XT offers alternative seating configurations, a Rockwell Collins cabin, entertainment systems, LED lighting and Wi-Fi connection. At the October 2018 NBAA convention, Nextant showcased a brand new 400XTe with a price tag of $4.5 million that could hold up to 9 passengers.
Nextant aircraft remanufacturing program replaces engines or any other components needing to be fixed. This complete overhaul manufacturing program will leave the aircraft with 90% new parts with the airframe being the most significant original part. One the aircraft is fully remanufactured, buyers are offered a two-year whole aircraft warranty, pilot training with a simulator and a service network including nine facilities in the United States.
The 400XT can hit speeds upwords of Mach .78 with a maximum range of 1,500 nautical miles. The $2.8 Million Nextant G90XT is a remanufactured King Air with the engines replaced with Czech GE H75s and a brand new cabin. This aircraft has 10% better fuel burn than the Nextant 400XT, as well as lower maintenance costs. The G90XT has a range of 1,000 nautical miles before needing a fuel stop with a single pilot while holding three passengers.
