- The Cause of the Crash is Under Investigation
One person has died in a small plane crash Wednesday afternoon alongside the 210 Freeway in Sylmar, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
The pilot was the only person aboard a twin-engine Cessna 337 Skymaster, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The Fire Department reported a small gasoline leak but no fire at the location.
The plane did not crash into lanes or hit cars, however, the incident caused northbound traffic delays.
The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are both conducting investigations.
