FAA Proposes $3M Fine Against Moser Aviation, LLC.
The commonly known charter operator Moser Aviation who operate a fleet of Nextant 400xti’s has been under fire recently from their wrongdoings. The FAA released a statement back in July saying,
“The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has proposed a $3,009,500 civil penalty against Moser Aviation in Englewood, Colo., for allegedly conducting 1,018 flights without qualified management personnel.
The FAA alleges that between January 2020 and May 2021, Moser Aviation conducted the flights in multiple aircraft without a qualified chief pilot to oversee the operations. The FAA alleges that the company did not notify the agency of its personnel change within 10 days of the position’s vacancy, as outlined in the company’s operations specifications.
The FAA further alleges that in June 2020, Moser Aviation falsely reported to the Denver Flight Standards District Office that its previous chief pilot was still working the position.
Moser Aviation has 30 days to respond to the FAA after receiving the agency’s enforcement letter.”

Moser Aviation really let us down!
My family and I planned a week trip to Telluride from Denver. On the day that we were to return to Denver from Telluride on N959CR with Moser Aviation we were told that the operator couldn’t find their plane, and that they couldn’t get a hold of the crew. They didn’t know if their crew was “sick, if they had gotten in a car accident, or if they had been kidnapped.”
We were scheduled to be delayed 3.5 hours, and later delayed another 1.5 hours, and even then they couldn’t confirm the certain departure time. After several unsuccessful attempts to get more information about what was going on with the plane and crew we felt is was best to book a commercial flight rather than risk flying with Moser Aviation. They obviously lack the necessary structure to operate a reliable charter operation.
After all of this, the owner, Marty Moser was not willing to give us our money back!
I would recommend that everyone stay clear of this company!
Still owed money back from Martin Moser…No surprise he cuts corners, should have paid, the chief pilot from what he owes my family.
I could rattle off a long list of issues I’ve had with Moser but simply put out of the dozens of operators I have dealt with, Moser is hands down the worse. They are solely focused on revenue, overbook their jets causing delays and mechanical issues, and lack any sense of customer service or communication. Stay far away!
