LABACE Returns to Sao Paulo, Brazil in 2022

  • What LABACE is and where in the world it is held
  • Changes ABAG is making to be considerate of COVID-19

LABACE is one of 4 NBAA partner events worldwide and is the largest business aviation event in Latin America. Consolidated as an event of business opportunities in the industry, thanks to our visitors and partners: The most important local and international companies of Executive Aviation. LABACE was recently postponed until this November with hopes of the Pandemic passing, but will not officially happen next year from August 9th to the 11th. The Brazilian Business Aviation Association (ABAG) cancelled the 2021 edition of the Sao Paulo fair, Latin America’s largest aviation event because of global and local uncertainties about COVID-19.

LABACE 2021 sales have been going well despite the postponement. 50 new exhibitors will be in attendance, and over 20 contracts have been signed to attend as well. ABAG is going to make changes due to the pandemic, such as swapping the air-conditioned tent for an open hangar, canceling in-person panels, and limiting the public to invitation-only. The 2019 show marked Brazil’s recovery from its longest recession, and LABACE 2021 had been getting a boost from the long-awaited government approval of fractional aircraft ownership, the strength of the dollarized agribusiness market, and new clients driven to private flying by the pandemic. ABAG also canceled LABACE 2020 due to the pandemic.
