Air Canada reported a significant loss in 2021, with over 3 Billion dollars lost in revenue. However, they are adding flights and bringing back staff as they hope that regulations, restrictions, and rules ease up.
They also stated that they would increase capacity on their planes as things start to open up more, and increase the number of flights as well.
Canadian airlines saw a bigger loss than America did, as their restrictions are much more strict.

Lucie Guillemette, Chief Commercial Officer, said that they are hoping for a rebound in travel and demand picks up as well.
