After a terrible storm, Miley Cyrus‘ jet had to make an emergency landing after it was struck by lightning. It was able to land safely without any injuries involved, but, it had to be a traumatizing experience.

Miley was flying to Paraguay where she was going to perform a concert there. They never made it to their destination on time after having to make an emergency landing.

Miley provided a statement about the situation. “To my fans and everyone worried after hearing about my flight to Asunción. Our plane was caught in a major unexpected storm and struck by lighting… My crew, band, friends and family who were all traveling with me are safe after an emergency landing. We were unfortunately unable to fly into Paraguay.”

She then posted a video to Instagram showing the lightning outside the window of her airplane, which validated her claims for not performing. There was no further information as to where they landed exactly, but, they are safe and there were no reported injuries.
