Tragedy has struck at an Alabama airport as a baggage handler was killed after being sucked into the engine of an American Airlines plane. The incident occurred while the plane was parked at the gate at Montgomery Regional Airport just before its scheduled flight to Dallas, Texas.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, was a member of the ground crew. He was reportedly in the process of loading baggage into the plane’s engine when he was sucked in and killed instantly.
