Ranking at the top of the list for celebrities utilizing private jets is Taylor Swift‘s plane which flew a staggering 170 flights in just under half a year, according to Yard studies. Her jet was up in the air an estimated 22,923 minutes, or 15.9 days total! That output has created an alarming 8,293.54 metric tonnes of carbon emissions – equivalent to roughly 19 times more CO2 than driving from New York City to Los Angeles and back again!

Coming in behind Swift’s plane was the private jet owned by boxer Floyd Mayweather, which emitted an estimated 7076.8 tonnes of CO2 from 177 flights so far this year.

Yard studies using ADS-B Exchange data revealed that Jay-Z was listed at number three in the rankings. The information gathered belonged to the Puma Jet, a Gulfstream GV owned by Jay-Z as part of his agreement with Puma when he became its Creative Director; it is said to be given as an incentive for athletes sponsored by them.

Following Jay-Z‘s Puma Jet comes former baseball star Alex Rodriguez‘s aircraft, which flew a total of 106 times and released an outrageous 5342.7 tons of carbon dioxide.

To close out the top five, singer Blake Shelton‘s personal jet has taken 111 trips and released a hefty 4495 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere.

Rounding out the top ten, Steven Spielberg flew 61 times with a total of 4,465 tonnes used. Kim Kardashian came in second after 57 flights totaling 4268.5 tonnes while Mark Wahlberg had 101 trips for 3772.85 tones. Oprah Winfrey completed 68 journeys at 3493.17 tonnes. Lastly, Travis Scott made 54 journeys consuming 3033.3 tonnes of jet fuel overall.
