Kate Middleton and Prince William arrived in the United States on Wednesday afternoon. The couple will spend the next three days in Boston before returning to the U.K. on Saturday morning. They are expected to visit a health clinic, several schools and a number of businesses during their stay in America. The couple is also scheduled to attend an event hosted by Harvard Business School and the Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony.

The visit to the U.S. is expected to be a very special trip for the couple as it marks their first overseas trip since the death of Queen Elizabeth. They will be sure to remember this one for many years to come.

Upon arrival at Boston Logan Airport, Prince William made a statement about their visit to America in honor of his late grandmother Queen Elizabeth.

“Catherine and I are delighted to be back in the United States and are extremely grateful to Governor Baker and The First Lady of Massachusetts for their warm welcome into Boston.” He added, “On this, our first overseas visit since the death of my grandmother, I would like to thank the people of Massachusetts and particularly of Boston for their many tributes paid to the late Queen.”

There were rumors that Megan Markle and Prince Harry will join the couple in Boston, which they have denied. However, they did confirm that Prince Harry will join them later in the week for the Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony.

The Prince and Princess of Wales attended a Boston Celtics home game vs. the Miami Heat at TD Garden on the first day of their landmark US tour, where they sat courtside with Celtic‘s owners Wyc Grousbeck and wife Emilia Fazzalari. Kate and William joined 20,000 other fans to cheer on the Boston Celtics as they won their 134-121 game against the Miami Heat. This win extends their winning streak to five games.
